We're all privy to the myriad of perfectly posed, perfectly captured and memorialized-forever-moments on Pinterest. Almost each time I log on I am greeted with gorgeous images fit for the pages of parenting, decorating and foodie magazines from all over the world.
I'm here to show you what the majority of my photos look like when trying to capture a two year old and a six month old. Someone is never looking at the camera. One of them is always unimpressed or downright angry.
Toddlers are stubborn. Babies are funny.
But despite its imperfections and the fact that neither is smiling, let alone looking at the camera, this picture has quickly become a favorite of mine.
I'm so, so grateful that these boys are my little people.
Looks like my house! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is just beyond hilarious. A perfectly unperfect snapshot.
ReplyDeleteLove this! I like the "real" pics way better than the perfect ones.
ReplyDeleteI also love your "about me" blurb. Without the mom parts, we're very similar :)

ReplyDeleteI don't know what I love more about this picture, Carters face or Mac attack looking at him with that quizzical face. I love it.
ReplyDeleteIt is so refreshing to see REALNESS posted on a blog like this--I love it! I swear, some people make it seem like life is so picture-perfect all the time. They're still cute as hell, even mid-scream!
ReplyDeleteThat picture is PRICELESS!
