I have been a terrible blogger and it's evident in my recent hemorrhaging of followers. Okay, fine. Less hemorrhage and more of trickle since it was only two, but nonetheless, it's become evident that you, dear Loyals, don't particularly like ILYMTC when there's a certain lack of... substance. I apologize for this and will now make excuses for my scarcity.
Here's two of them. Do you forgive me?
And it's only going to get worse before it gets better. Will you bear with me? I promise I'll make it up to you. It's just.. hard. And I'm learning every day how to strike a balance between Mommy-ing, Wife-ing, Blogging and growing my own business.
A may-jah thanks goes out to all of those who've supported and encouraged me thus far! Happy Wednesday, Loyals! Please don't break up with me, okay?
forever a challenge! I have lacked substance for quite awhile, but have found being a mom is more important. I LOVE your pics. I'm seriously tempted to drive however many forevers it would take me to come get some pics done.
ReplyDeleteI'm LOVING the photos. I bet the Mom is going to cry when she sees them (happy tears of course...)
ReplyDeleteFinding a balance is HARD. I'm having a hard time with this as well. I promise I'm not going anywhere. Beautiful pictures, by the way.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pictures!! The 2nd one is my favorite. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are doing a great job with those photos! Love them!
ReplyDeleteI love the pics! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of going through the same thing right now! No time to blog or to visit others' blogs. So frustrating, but sometimes it just takes getting into a good routine and everything will fall into place. Congrats on launching your own business! Your pictures are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteokay, I never have substance on my blog...don't make me apologize for it!!! Don't beat yourself up...I've been doing that and no one but my family really reads my blog! Life gets busy...I have been so insane at work the past month, I was having a hard time just reading the blogs I follow, like yours, never mind updating my own. I don't really have time today to be reading, but I needed to catch my breath and regroup since today and tomorrow are 2 really long days for me where I'll hardly see the Tomster, so I can totally understand when things get overwhelming and you feel like you should be doing more...or doing it all. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, you know?
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy how the loss of just one follower can sting - especially when you're a blogger with not so many (unlike you!). I've been loving all the great pics and quick stories. You're one talented mama!
ReplyDeleteThis shoot is, hands down, your best yet! I love it so much Ashley!!
ReplyDeleteI will be praying for balance - it is so hard to find that sweet spot and balance all areas of life.
At least you still blog. I can hardly find the time to make a post. I'm an avid reader these days. And blog slacker.
ReplyDeleteI won't be breaking up with your blog anytime soon. :-)
AWESOME photos --- and you do your thing mama.... we'll be here!! :)
ReplyDeleteThose are great photos! And I don't judge when people take time off of blogging! There's no need to blog every single day if you don't feel like it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! Finding balance is hard! :)
ReplyDeletemore more more.... me want to see moooore.
ReplyDeletebeautiful :)
great pics! way to go on starting it up :)
ReplyDeleteGirl, sometimes you just don't have to write. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the photographs, love when you post, love your authenticity.
But, you (and the fam) come first, so no apologies!
Stick to it and we'll still be here when you are. ♥
Their loss! I've been reading your ever entertaining blog since before I had a google account- well, before I knew what a google account was... Because you said/wrote what i was thinking! [I have a 10 month old and stumbled across your blog while pregnant and miserable- and yes, in my mind, those two words work together sometimes. I had morning sickness the whole 9 months and 1 day.] PS- your photographs are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI loe the pictures! And I sometimes get in a blogging slump or just get busy so I totally understand!!
ReplyDeleteHi! New subscriber and I think you are hilarious!!! Don't let the unsubscribers bring you down!!! : )
ReplyDeleteyeah... I just ended a week-long break that turned into a month-long break, and lost a few followers as well.
ReplyDeletesometimes there are things more important, fun, and exciting than blogging. Especially when the sun is out ; )
