It's that time again! Ever since the leaves have begun to fall, holiday cards and all things paper have been on my mind! Having procured everyone's outfits for this year's family picture months in advance, I managed to cut down some of the stress associated with taking the perfect picture for that perfect holiday card.
You know what else cuts down on some of that stress? Minted and their amazingly beautiful wide array of both personalized and customizable holiday cards. They've been the go-to holiday paperer for our family for the last several years and we continue to receive compliments on their work long after the holidays are over.
Not only do they have an incredible unique array of designs but they support some of the most talented indie-designers around. Perhaps you're in the market for a non-photo holiday card or other personalized stationery, Minted has you covered.
Check out some of the beautiful Minted designs of 2013 that I've included below.
If you've been following the paper trend as of late, you'll notice that pressed foil is all the rage! This first card below is in the top running for this year's M Family Christmas card. After all, it meets all of the credentials: It's a) beautiful b) says the requisite "Merry Christmas" and c) makes the family photo of choice the centerpiece of the card. It's a win-win all around!
Not only does Minted offer one of a kind designs but they also offer various card shapes too! Looking to go that extra mile with your holiday paper this year? Try switching up the shape of the card for that stand out look!
And last but not least, check out this mini book photo card! Because sometimes you just need a little extra room to display those beautiful family photos and milestones!
Many thanks to Minted for partnering with I Love You More Than Carrots for another year and offering one lucky reader a $150 gift code to cover all of their holiday paper needs! To enter, simply use the Rafflecopter widget below. You must tell me your favorite holiday tradition to be entered but there are plenty of additional ways to earn even more chances to win! Good luck to all those who enter.
My favorite holiday tradition will be ones made this year; Sloan's first Christmas is this year so we are going to go through the neighboring towns Holiday Lights!
My favorite holiday tradition is driving around on Christmas Eve to look at all the lights! Homes are full of families and friends and we are sipping hot cocoa (or something more potent) as we take it all in....I love it!
One of my favorite holiday traditions has always been that before we open our gifts on Christmas morning we all sit down in front of the tree and read Luke chapter 2, the story of Jesus birth. It's one of the ways we try to remind ourselves of what the Christmas holiday is really about. We also started a new tradition last year with our daughter on her first Christmas, and that was getting her a new pair of pj's on Christmas eve! We will definitely be continuing that this year as well!
My favorite tradition is Christmas Eve. We go to the candlelight church service where we were married, then we come to our house & Doug & I host dinner. It's just perfect having our family around, calming down before the big day.
Attending our city park's special holiday event - train & carousel rides, crafts, meeting Santa, lights, outdoor movie. So much fun. Thanks for a chance to win!
I love decorating the tree. Of course I'm horribly anal about it and don't let anyone else touch it, but having a big beautiful real tree in our home is my favorite part of Christmas!
We have so many traditions for the holidays but my favorite is cutting down our own tree. We never did this as kids, we always bought from a lot. My husband and I started cutting ours down with our kids 3 years ago and absolutely love it.
Each year we have an annual cookie baking day with family and friends. Second to this would be our annual girls night in to watch Love Actually while sipping mulled wine.
We have several traditions but perhaps my favorite is attending Christmas Eve Lovefeast service with my entire family at our church. It is a beautiful service and really gets my heart and mind into the true reason for the season.
We have several traditions but perhaps my favorite is attending Christmas Eve Lovefeast service with my entire family at our church. It is a beautiful service and really gets my heart and mind in the right place and remembering the true reason for the season.
My favorite tradition is one I started unintentionally when the boys were born that has become habit. They each get a new pair of pajamas on Christmas Eve. It's their one presnet they get to open from us and it ensures that Xmas Morning pics won't look horrid!
We're making new traditions! We're in a new country, new baby [well, she's almost a year but this will be her first Christmas] and we're trying to figure out what traditions we want to start. I put up our Christmas tree last night!
My favorite (somewhat new) tradition is my Favorite Things Party. I usually hold it early in the month of December and it is a great time to get together with friends, and also to get gifting ideas!
Without a doubt, baking is my favorite holiday tradition. All the women of the family get together and spend a day in the kitchen making memories and all sorts of sweet goodies!
Hi AP! Our favorite tradition is everyone opening one present on Christmas Eve and (surprisingly! ;) ) we all get Christmas jammies to wear that night while waiting for Santa to come!

I have two favorite traditions. The first is building gingerbread houses with my siblings and nieces and nephews. The second is Christmas Eve Mass with my family. And I guess I'll add a third this year, celebrating my sons birthday, since he surprised us last Christmas and decided to be born 3 weeks early on Christmas day. So much to be thankful for!
We have quite a few traditions that I love!! Driving around looking at Christmas lights, picking an Angel, pj's for my kids on Christmas Eve, etc. Thanks for the giveaway!!
I love decorating the tree at my parent's but this year am looking forward to starting a new tradition with our little girl with waking up in our brand new home on Christmas morning!
My favorite tradition is getting dressed in our Christmas PJ's on Christmas Eve and watching Christmas movies ( all while "playing" Santa). Christmas with our kids is the BEST!
My favorite tradition is making peanut butter cookies with my grandmother's cookie press! We always make the camel shape, and my little brother started calling them dinosaurs about 20 years ago - the name stuck! Uhh, now I got all teary thinking about it. Damnit AP.
My favorite Christmas tradition is getting a freshly cut Christmas tree and decorating it and the house as a family! The way my son's face lights up is truly what it is all about! So excited now!!
Staying in PJs all day on Christmas day and hosting Christmas brunch so the boys can enjoy their family and their new goodies without having to haul everybody from one house to another.
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is letting my son pick out our freshly cut Christmas tree and taking it home to decorate it and the house as a family! The way his face lights up with excitement is what it is all about!
Oh my goodness I just love the whole season I don't know if I can pick a favorite tradition! I love decorating for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving, and listening to Christmas music all season long.
My favorite tradition is on Christmas morning my family and I wake up, have a breakfast together and then all sit around the tree in the living room. My sister and I pass out gifts and then we all open them!
We do a Christmas ball. In the middle is the biggest present (wrapped), then it is wrapped with some yarn and another present is added. That is wrapped with yarn and another present it added....keep going until you have a big ball of wrapped presents and yarn. Then the youngest kid starts and pulls the yarn until a present falls out. Keep going until all the presents are out of the ball. It is a fun way to keep kids entertained, everyone gets a little something, and laughs are had when someone open something the other gender would have much preferred :) We have been doing this my whole life. I love it!
I typed this up before but don't see it now. If it is a double sorry!

They pass the ball along and the next person pulls until a present falls out. growing up we never had any traditions - isnt that rude!!! isaiah and i are so excited about starting them up together with crue now. gunna sleep downstairs by the tree every christmas eve - and thanks to hanna andersson - hopefully matching pajamas for all! though when crue becomes 16.. or even 12, that probably wont fly as "cool" anymore, hahaha.
Fav holiday tradition? Well we've made it a point every year to take our kids to the Houston zoo in December! I love traditions that come about on their own! (gardenbaby)
I am starting a Christmas tradition this year with matching pjs for the family! I can't wait to get our Christmas eve and christmas morning pictures in our pajamas! So fun!
Since my husband and I have been dating it's only been the two of us (plus our families). This year we are so excited we can spend the holidays with our new baby girl. Our favorite tradition has always been grabbing some hot cocoa and driving around to see the Christmas lights. But I have a feeling we there will be SO many better traditions to come!
By far my favorite tradition is the end of Xmas dinner. We open Christmas "crackers", and English tradition. Whoever gets the bigger end has good luck, we wear silly paper hats, read the jokes/fortunes inside and play with the treats inside. Although tese are more geared towards kiddos, we still do these around the holiday table today -kids or no kids!
What a great give away. My Favorite holiday tradition, is my dad hides our stockings...still, I am 30 and my dad still hides our entire families stockings. It is so much fun to get up Christmas morning and have everyone looking for their stockings together.
By far I love the end of Xmas dinner where we open Christmas crackers. It's an English tradition we've done since I was little and could not imagine a holiday dinner without silly paper hats (found inside the crackers along with other small trinkets) and hearing the popping of the crackers!
My favorite is on Christmas Eve - we each get to open one gift, and it's ALWAYS a new pair of PJ's! We all get comfy and snuggle on the couch together with blankets and watch a Christmas movie. Everyone is always giddy over what's to come the next day and it's always full of giggles and hugs! We've now continued this tradition with our two children and it's the best!
I have a few, but off the top of my head: grabbing hot cocoa from either Starbucks or Tim Hortons, and then going through a 3+ mile Christmas light display with listening to the Christmas station; or on Christmas eve, once we're home from doing Christmas with my family, we open our "family present": new pajamas for all, and a story to read at bedtime.
My favorite tradition has to be the "Santa" gifts my dad gets us "kids" every year. None of us are under 21 but it still is the spirit to be surprised!
Undoubtedly, our annual trip to the tree farm is my favorite Christmas tradition! Love wandering the fields with the kids to find the "perfect" tree for our home!
This will sound odd but my favorite tradition is cutting down a Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving and then going for Mexican food, complete with sopaipillas. It's something my parents did with my siblings and me growing up, so I have continued the tradition with my family. :-)
My fave Christmas tradition is the night that we all hang out as a family and decorate the tree! My little girl will turn 4 next week so this year will be super fun for her and us! Plus we are scheduled for our big gift to arrive on the 25th of this month, a baby boy!! Love these cards and can only imagine how cute they would be for our first Christmas card as a family of 4!!
This is hard because I love everything about the holidays, but my favorite tradition is probably getting our Christmas tree and decorating it... I love the smell of a fresh tree and how pretty it makes the house!
after a day of black friday shopping we come home, hide all the goodies and put up the tree. I'm big on not leaving out Thanksgiving because I think we all need to take the time to be thankful for what the good Lord has given us. So the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas throws up at my house! LOL A few dats later it actually looks fabulous again. This year we have a new house to decorate and I am SO excited!
We have so many holiday traditions that its hard to pick just one! I love decorating our Chistmas tree (and the whole house!) the day after thanksgiving....giving my kids Their matching Christmas pjs...seeing their faces as they see what is under the tree Christmas morning!
Favorite traditions are either cutting down our tree on a family farm with the hubs family or my husband decking our house out like Clark Griswold. Seriously, my house plays music and the lights dance- the neighbors surprisingly still love us in January haha
Watching elf, decorating our home and making Christmas goodies! Now that our family has grown it is so much fun creating traditions with our babies! :) Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
I LOVE baking cookies! Cookie exchanges are my favorite. When my brother and I were kids, we would decorate gingerbread houses every year with my grandparents.
My favorite tradition is making a traditional southern breakfast on Christmas morning. We have the same 2 casseroles every year for as long as I can remember.
I don't really do Christmas anymore, since losing my aunt and grandparents, but I love sending cards out. Something about it just says it's the holidays
My favorite holiday tradition will actually start this year with the birth of our baby! But one has always been all of the time we spend with our family; Christmas Eve and Christmas day!!
My favorite tradition is Christmas Eve with my sister-in-law. We have a big fire and our gift exchange. My mother-in-law ususally wraps the wrong gifts for the wrong people. I got my brother-in-law's boxers and he got a nightie. (It's not on purpose), she's crazy.
My favorite holiday tradition is piling into the car after Christmas dinner and driving around to see the lights. Our entire family only gets together a few times a year, so it's wonderful to be able to pile in and enjoy the magic of the season.

My favorite holiday tradition is my whole extended family (50-60) going over to my mom or aunts house (depending on the year) and the men watching football and the women around the kitchen table chatting.
I have so many favorite traditions. Xmas pjs, getting my boy's photo taken with Santa, sipping hot chocolate the entire month of December, going out with the family to look at lights, and cookie baking night...I love it all!!
i love the holiday season so much! there are so many traditions i get excited for, but some of my favorites are putting up the christmas lights, our citys local boat parade, decorating the christmas tree, reading the night before christmas, wrapping presents (yes i know im weird, but i enjoy it lol), and going to christmas eve church service! the sweet life of a southern wife
There are so many fun traditions to choose from, but every year we make a list and watch all of our favorite Christmas movies...mine is Elf, my husband's is Home Alone :)
I have to choose one?! I love seeing my children dig through the ornament boxes, squealing in delight as they rediscover them and I secretely adore the always heavily one-sided decorated tree that results from their decorating skills.
Baking cookies with my mom and sisters is my favorite. I missed doing this last year being 6 hours away, but hoping we are able to do it and get together this year. Mostly it's my one sister and mom doing most of the baking and my other sister and I making other foods and taste testing

Having kids, my favorite thing to do on christmas morning is wake up before them, put in the breakfast casserole, turn on christmas music and all of the lights in the house, and then make sure I have the ipad ready to record them as they walk down the stairs. Seeing their faces as they turn into the living room and see the presents and half-eaten cookies is something I want to remember forever, so I always record it.

Oh that Our Snowflake Joy announcement card is precious!

We've now continued this tradition with our two children and it's the best!

ReplyDeleteI have a few, but off the top of my head: grabbing hot cocoa from either Starbucks or Tim Hortons, and then going through a 3+ mile Christmas light display with listening to the Christmas station; or on Christmas eve, once we're home from doing Christmas with my family, we open our "family present": new pajamas for all, and a story to read at bedtime.
