Something about how, for having two kids, I seemingly have it all together.
I couldn't help but laugh.
The above picture was taken while getting ready for our neighbor's 4th birthday party.
Do not be fooled, Loyals. I do not have it all together.
This was the first time since having Maclane (3 weeks ago) that I curled my hair.
This was also the first time since having Maclane that I wore "real" clothes out of the house.
My upstairs hasn't been vacuumed in nearly a month.
There are piles and piles of folded laundry all over my house.
I'm (co) sleeping with Maclane in our guest room (and have been for two weeks) so that I don't bother The Husband during one of the thirty-seven-hundred nursing sessions I take part in over night.
I haven't cooked a family dinner since I don't even know when.
Most days? I don't shower until The Husband comes home from work... at 7pm.
By 7pm, I smell like curdled milk.
Carter and I watch roughly 6 and a half episodes of Curious George each day.
And approximately 37 minutes of either Shrek, Chicken Little or Madagascar 2.
I firmly believe that God invented Magic Erasers so that unsupervised toddlers could draw on kitchen walls with crayons.
By 10:30am, I'm usually ready for a glass of wine.
Believe me, Loyals. I do not have it all together.
But I do just try to keep it real.
