No, your eyes do not fool you. I am wearing a striped tank maxi dress. A very clingy, very striped tank maxi dress. And? I blame my mother. We all know that one's mother is their biggest fan. My mother would tell me I looked drop-dead-gorgeous in a burlap sack and four-day-old-hair (and she probably has on more than one occasion). That, my friends, is why one should not take their mother shopping with them.
But? From the compliments I received, it looks like I pulled it off. It was my meager attempt at dressing the part of July 4th Barbecue and an attempt at accessorizing. See: Red stretchy belt. Each of those items was purchased yesterday, at Macy's, for a grand total of less than thirty dollars.
Yes, that would be me. Rockin' on with mah bad self.
Well, Loyals. It has come to my attention that too often I find myself behind the camera and not in front of it. I have approximately 5,438 pictures of Carter and 176 pictures of The Husband and Carter.
I have approximately 15 pictures of Carter and myself. And maybe less of us as a family.
This is something that I'm desperately trying to change. Not only have I been desperate to capture a handful of cute, new "Mommy and Me" pictures but I've been just dying for a new Family Photo to enlarge on canvas and add to our in-the-works gallery wall.
So.. did I accomplish that or what?
