when i'm not unpacking, cleaning, staining, moving,
rearranging, folding, washing or shopping,
i'm hanging out with this furball.
and as if we weren't the best of friends before,
now that i'm not working, we're pretty much inseparable.

If you're sitting there thinking, "Er, somebody needs a bath and a haircut," you're absolutely right. And since our newly cramped budget does not include
a Sheepie stipend for a $110 visit to the groomer,
Hubs and I will be tackling the very shaggy sheepdog
by our (hopefully very capable) selves.
Anyone have an extra set of sheep shears they aren't using?

aw sully, you and stella have the same predicament. we purchased sheers (something insane like 160 bucks) but i still don't know if they can tackle the sheep 'fro our pups have going on.

and holy MOSES i had no idea it was that expensive to groom a sheep dog! i guess i should be greatful for the $30 it costs to bathe my lab. he doesn't really need haircuts, he just prefers to shed it all over our house :)

I am not really a dog (or animal) person, but it makes me so happy seein that big poofy face on your blog! Makes me almost want one of my own! :)
I found your blog from Megan's. We have a 7 1/2 month old sheepdog named Lolo (2 1/2 year old named her!). They are the absolute sweetest dogs!! We love her to death. We also have a 7 month old Shih tzu...it's hilarious watching them play! One weighs over 50 lbs & the other barely weighs 3 lbs!
