I swear I try out this crazy contraption every single day. Just once I want to plop him in there, set him on the counter and tell him to act responsibly as my sous chef. Instead? I rock the Bjorn and dance around the kitchen in between breading pork chops and julienning carrots. Totally normal. Because, really. There's no way you could convince me that this kid looks comfortable.

Yah, waste of money in our household too. Connor's thighs are a little on the large side for this thing! He hates it and would rather be bouncing around in his jumper. Maybe our next children will puffy heart it so we can get our dough's worth?? Maybe??
ReplyDeleteha! you're right. he doesn't look comfortable at all! look at that face... so adorable
ReplyDeleteI'm always worried to put Em in it, worried that she wont support her neck the right way... Ha... I feel like I wear the bjorn just as much as other things like a bra or pants, it's just easier and why not.. however there is totally the bjorn dance .. the one you do when they start to fuss a bit and your to busy to take them out and hold them
ReplyDelete"Mom! Get me outta this thing! I'm still a widdle baby" ;) Love this picture! haha we have the same colored bumbo. Keep rocking the bjorn, because one day he won't fit =/ To go along with Lindsey's comment, my nephew completely skipped the bumbo because his legs were so chunky, but my friend's baby lived in them for months!
ReplyDeleteawww, love the face! Maybe try waiting until 4 months? that's what we did with Meredith {even though she had the head control way before that} and she loved it!
ReplyDeleteI feel the SAME WAY about the bumbo! I thought I was the only one! And I'm pretty sure my kid hates it too.
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable!
ReplyDeleteHaha he may not look comfortable but he sure does look hilarious/adorable!
ReplyDeleteGIRL! I feel ya! I cooked a whole meal last week with the Moby on...ridiculous!
ReplyDeleteThe makers of the Bumbo are effing morons. My kid hates it. Just like he has the baby bjorn and any other contraption that restricts movement of his flailing arms and legs.
ReplyDeleteThis is too funny -- so adorable!
ReplyDeleteComfortable? NO
ReplyDeleteCute? ABSOLUTELY!!
we love our Bumbo! But maybe he's just not old enough for it yet..? BG was about 3 1/2 months and holding her head up very well on her own before she was comfortable in it. Of course, it only lasted about 2 1/2 months before she figured out how to get out of it... sigh.
ReplyDeleteoh dang it--i was totally hoping to use this when i get tired of toting him around...that sounds horrible, but you know what i mean.
ReplyDeleteHa! I was wondering if I should register for this contraption... :)
ReplyDeleteWe have the same problem. Connor has great head control, but just looks totally uncomfortable in the bumbo! And he has the same outfit - LOVE it! :)
