Fish sticks and sweet potato fries. Does that scream "Toddler Meal" or what?
Take a moment to divert your eyes from Carter's delicious five-star dinner and check out that awesome dinnerware! Now, it's no Lenox Venetian Lace but it's most certainly dinnerware fit for a toddler king.
Ever since the kind folks at Nuby sent us the iMonster feeding set to review, Carter continually asks for his "monstah" plate and bowl and who am I to deny him of those fun colors, fantastic quality and great durability?
What I love most about the iMonster Toddler Plate (2), iMonster Toddler Bowl (3) and iMonster Fork & Spoon (4) is that each of these products was designed to withstand the daily wear and tear of kids and their natural tendency to destroy things.
Having been microwaved, hand washed and flung all around the kitchen, each of these products has maintained both their appearance and function. Carter loves their bright, bold colors as well as the silly monster face at the bottom of his iMonster Toddler Plate (2).
Another great iMonster product from Nuby is the iMonster No-Spill Cup (1). With it's unique one piece, No-Spill soft silicone spout that is easy
to use and easy to clean, it promotes natural drinking action and
healthy oral development. According to the manufacturer, "the newly designed valve opens with minimum pressure
and doesn't require constant sucking that can damage new teeth and soft palates.
It also features an Easy Grip base that is perfect for a child's transition
to self feeding."
This cup truly is "no-spill" provided the silicone spout is properly assembled. I learned this the hard way as Carter attempted to take a big swig of juice after I hadn't made sure that the silicone spout was tightly sealed inside the plastic O-ring. It was a complete user error on my part and once it was fixed, not a drip or leak to be found.
Lastly, in a constant never-ending battle to civilize the Toddler Beast, we've been encouraging Carter to eat with utensils rather than just his tiny toddler fingers. Not only is it important to have utensils that are safe for kids, but they should be specially designed to be easy for little hands to
hold and use. These colorful forks and spoons are designed to meet all of those
special needs for either left handed or right handed kiddos.
Each of these products is designed for use with cold or warm foods and with the exception of the iMonster No-Spill cup, is microwave safe. You can find these products at the following retailers:
