Pretty Sure This Is Teething Hell.

Some of you may not know this but I belong to a panel of super awesome Mommy Bloggers who work very closely with the people at Nuby to review current baby, toddler and child products. Everything from bottles and cups, teethers and toys to health, safety, bathing and cleaning accessories, I have the opportunity to try out products and share my honest opinions.

Each time I request products from Nuby they typically correlate specifically with a milestone that one or both of my children are on the cusp of achieving.  For instance as we transitioned Carter from a sippy to a straw cup, we reviewed the No-Spill Flip It.

I think it's easy to discern that this month's product package focused mainly on teething. In fact, I do believe I'm writing to you from the pits of teething purgatory. I can't buy teething toys fast enough. I want them all. Anything to help relieve some of the discomfort that Mac is currently feeling. Something for him to gnaw on other than my shoulder, arm, index finger or ear.

It's easy for me to say how pleased I am with the following two products but what do I know? I'm not the one biting on it all day! I think it's safe to say, however, that they each received the Maclane Seal Of Approval.

The Nuby Teething Blankie is designed to comfort and soothe your little one through the teething process. I love that it has multiple teething surfaces and can pretty much soothe your baby no matter where he bites! It crinkles, it folds, it's soft and it's smooth- with a variety of textures and sensory stimulating fabrics, the Nuby Teething Blankie is both fun and useful.

I love the bright colors and that adorable frog face. Maclane has multiple conversations with that frog face throughout the day and it has quickly become a favorite toy in our house!

You can find the Nuby Teething Blankie at the following retailers: BuyBabyDirect, Amazon and Walmart.

The IcyBite Keys by Nuby teether feature areas filled with "purICE" which allows them to stay cooler longer than your typical water-filled teethers.  While colorful shapes stimulate your baby's vision, the raised offset surfaces assist in the eruption of new teeth by gently massaging your infant's gums.

Not only does Maclane love chewing on his IcyBite Keys but he also loves banging them around in his Jeep walker and highchair. With small easy to grip parts, this teether is perfect for tiny inquisitive hands.

This teether freezes quickly and stays cold for much longer than the traditional water-filled teethers that we own. In fact, I love this teether so much that I went and ordered a second one to keep in the freezer while Maclane plays with the original one.

One last thing that I love about the IcyBite Keys by Nuby is that there is plenty of product to grasp that isn't frozen/freezable thus eliminating freezing cold baby hands!

You can find the Nuby IcyBite Keys at the following retailers: BuyBabyDirect, Babies R Us, Walmart, Target and K-Mart.

I received the above products for free in exchange for my honest review and opinions as expressed above. I did not receive any financial compensation for this post. I received this opportunity as an official member of the Nuby Mommy Blogger program.

  3. do you have one of those mesh feeding things? know what I'm talking about...you can put stuff in it and the kids can hold it and suck the juices out. I used that for teething, put a piece of ice or frozen peach in it.
