Move Over Yurman, There's A New Jewel In Town.

{In case you missed it, I wrote last night about Mothering Boys for my 31 Days of Motherhood series. You can read that post as well as catch up on the last eight days here.}

And take it from Mac, this one is delicious.

This isn't the first time I've heard of teething jewelry. When I was pregnant with Carter I remember seeing something about it in one of the 479 parenting magazines that suddenly found their way into my mailbox during my pregnancy. I must've been too caught up in First Time Mom'ing It, that I didn't realize how much easier my life would be if I had only hopped aboard the teething jewelry bandwagon.

At three and a half months old (quick, somebody hold me) Maclane has just started putting anything and everything he can get his little hands on into his mouth. This new discovery was cute for all of five minutes before he started yanking on things like my hair (ouch!) and my necklace and trying to shove them, simultaneously at times, into his mouth.

On top of being incredibly painful, shoving things into his mouth like my necklace, for instance, isn't exactly the cleanest or safest of teething items.

But Teethease has changed all that. Fashion meets function with their unique and trendy designs of safe, soft and affordable teething baubles. Each of their pieces is BPA, PVC and latex free, designed with a safety break away clasp that releases when pulled.

These necklaces are lightweight, comfortable to wear, dishwasher safe and more importantly, versatile enough to dress up or dress down whenever necessary! Designed to mimic current trends in jewelry, this Rock*ease Classic necklace fits right in with today's most coveted bauble designs.

If you're a nursing mother, you know you're often mercilessly at the hands of your baby (literally) during feeding times. This means pulled hair, scratched necks, pinched skin, all because of those wandering little hands. This is one of my favorite times to throw on my Rock*ease Classic necklace. Within seconds of easily securing the safety clasp, Maclane grabs a hold and explores it with his little hands, shifting the focus from my hair, neck and skin.

Another favorite accessory of mine is the My Teethease Heart Pendant. With it's open center, this necklace is easy for tiny inquisitive hands to grab a hold of. I prefer to keep this necklace in one of the zippered pockets of my diaper bag. This way, when I'm on the go, I can easily take it out and either slip it on or hand it over to the baby when need be. Most recently I've done this while standing in line at the grocery store with a very impatient little baby.

I only wish I had known how awesome these necklaces are when I had my first baby! They always say "you learn as you go," no?

My Teethease teething jewelry comes in a variety of colors and styles. I've talked a lot about the teething necklaces but they also have teething bracelets! I'm starting to think that I'll have to add one of those to my collection next! Isn't this sweetheart bangle the cutest?

Today, the wonderful folks at My Teethease have offered to give away ONE item from their boutique to one very lucky Loyal. The winner of this giveaway will get to choose their desired piece! Thank you, My Teethease and good luck to all those who enter. Be sure to use the Rafflecopter widget below for easy entry.
