I could never and would never boast about a product that I didn't truly love and the Oreck Grab-It & Steam-It has honestly been a wonderful and welcome addition to this busy Mom's cleaning repertoire.
I would be lying if I said I didn't have an obsession with pristinely steamed hardwood floors and in a household complete with a toddler and 110lb sheepdog, it is certainly no easy feat. That is, until I started using the Oreck Grab-It & Steam-It steam mop. After just one use, it quickly replaced my previous mop of choice, one that rhymes with "shmark" and one that I will never use nor recommend ever again!
As a matter of fact, I spend roughly two hours per week steam cleaning my floors and the Oreck Grab-It & Steam-It steam mop has made me look forward to those two hours like never before. I even consider it well spent "me time" and the Grab-It & Steam-It has actually made those two hours fun!
My favorite component to the Grab-It & Steam-It is that with one touch of a button it simultaneously steams and sweeps your floors. A turbo broom and steam mop all rolled into one with an extra neat swivel head for those hard to reach places.
It has truly become this Mom's favorite new toy and my favorite place to use it? Beneath the toddler's high chair, of course! No more damp paper towels and getting down on my hands and knees to swipe up crumbs and wipe up spilled juice. The Oreck Grab-It & Steam-It does it all for me, quickly and easily!
Lightweight and easy to store, I keep my Grab-It and Steam-It in the pantry for easy access and within just about a minute of plugging it in, the indicator light illuminates, letting me know that it's ready to steam and sanitize my sealed hardwood floors.
As seen on the Oreck website, "The Oreck Grab-It & Steam-It replaces multiple cleaning supplies with one simple, easy-to-use tool for quick cleanups, deep cleaning and can sanitize hard floor surfaces by focusing steam for at least 15 seconds." Needless to say, it's also been a saving grace on the tile floors in each of the upstairs bathrooms. Ahem, moms of potty training boys, you know what I'm talking about!
My second favorite component to the Grab-It and Steam-It steam mop is that is comes with a removable water tank for easy filling. No more fumbling with funnels and tiny plastic pitchers to fill those pesky in-mop water tanks with the too-small, awkwardly placed fill holes.
Lastly, one of the most important reasons that I love my Oreck Grab-It & Steam-It is that with the use of steam clean technology (without the addition of harsh chemicals) it safely and cost-effectively sanitizes my floors which is especially important with both a toddler and family pet in the house and a baby on the way!
