Do you see it there? Blowing in the wind? Carter has hair! Halleluia, the child has some hair. It's no joke that I was a baldie until the age of 2. When I say "baldie," I'm talking about bald. Bald as in Tommy Pickles from Rugrats bald. So bald, in fact, that strangers were forever approaching my parents asking them, "How is your daughter tolerating her chemotherapy?" Of course, in the beginning they would politely correct them. However, after months and months of the same sorts of questions, they would quickly respond with a smile, short and sweet, "She's doing great! Thanks for asking." Needless to say, I'm ecstatic to learn that Carter will fortunately be spared the baldie gene.
My heart just bursts. Who knew you could love someone so much?
I don't know what made me laugh more - his adorable little hair or the fact that your parents had people ask them about chemotherapy! Wow! :)
ReplyDeleteHe is SO cute! Look at that little blondie!
ReplyDeleteYay Carter! :)
ReplyDeleteYea!!!! I see it! So cute! Kp is a little baldie too, I'm just now starting to. Be able to put those Velcro clippies in!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Our oldest daughter was bald until about 18 months, drove me crazy. I wanted to put a little pebbles ponytail in her hair SO BAD. His hair will start coming in and will fill that cute little head in no time!
ReplyDeleteI think Smith can give him some more on loan in a few weeks! :)
ReplyDeletehe's so damn cute it makes my teeth hurt.
I love the second pic.. he looks like he is sayin " aww ma dont kiss me in this pic the girls might see it"
ReplyDeleteI had people ask me why I'd cut all Cassidy's hair off.
ReplyDeleteBecause she had a few tendrils that laid on the top of her head, and the rest was baldy. So goofy looking.
Love the new pictures - just dying over here :o)
ReplyDeleteHE IS TOO CUTE! I'm DYING here. I was a baldy except for one little sprout of hair. That my mother insisted on curling. I looked like Pebbles until age 3. Ha!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Love that face!!!
ReplyDeleteBG took months and months to get hair but now it's coming in with a quickness. He is so, so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteOhh! How so sweet. I can completely see the hair blowing in the wind - so fine and soft and such a beautiful color!! I can't relate b/c Peanut has had so much hair from the beginning (those Asian genes) but I was apparently bald for a very long time! And I agree with you on the heart bursting - sometimes I look at Peanut and think I'm just going to explode with love!
